DJ Burns is a March Madness legend.
The hero of North Carolina State's NCAA Tournament run in 2024 captured the nation's hearts thanks to his crafty left-handed game contained in a big fella's body.
Now, he's back in the basketball spotlight.
Burns is playing in The Basketball Tournament, the exciting single-elimination event featuring non-NBA pros each summer.
In TBT, Burns is a member of Team Challenge ALS, which won its first game and is playing Sunday night in the Round of 32.
Burns is the most recognizable name on a roster that also includes former Wolfpack star DJ Horne and former Boston College star and Golden State Warriors guard Ky Bowman.
After his NC State run, Burns went undrafted in 2024.
He spent the 2024-25 season in South Korea with Sono SG. He averaged 9.3 points and 3.6 rebounds per game.
Now, he's back on the court stateside trying to make another deep tournament run.
