Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards’ vulgar comment to Lakers fans earned him a fine from the NBA.
Edwards was fined $50,000 for arguing with heckling Los Angeles fans — particularly for gesturing to his nether regions and saying, “My d–k bigger than yours.”

DAWG ANTHONY EDWARDS DON’T CARE AT ALL LMAOO
To heckling Lakers fans:
“He got 200 million.”
“My d*ck bigger than yours.”
While it wasn’t referenced as part of the fine’s reasoning, Edwards was also trolling the heckling fans about how much money his teammate Rudy Gobert has.
“He got $200 million,” he repeated over and over before then making the gesture and mentioning his crotch.
Gobert humorously corrected Edwards, telling him he’s got $300 million, not $200 million, likely referencing his total career earnings. Gobert’s current contract is $205 million.
The league announced Edwards’ fine through a press release Monday afternoon.
The fine was officially filed under the “obscene gesture” category, which the NBA has had seven instances of this season. Edwards has now been responsible for three of them.
In November, Edwards was fined $35,000 for flipping his middle finger at a fan in a Timberwolves win against the Kings.

He then followed that incident in January when he flipped the bird twice more, this time at officials during a loss to the Grizzlies.
According to Spotrac, Edwards’ fines in 2024-25 have reached $514,393 — this includes the fines that the superstar has received for every technical foul, ejection and his one-game suspension that he received for topping 16 technical fouls.
Luckily for Edwards, he is signed to a near-$250 million contract — so, he’ll be alright paying the fine.
Edwards and the Timberwolves took down the Lakers 117-95 on Saturday — when Edwards did his fine-worthy actions.
Minnesota and Los Angeles face off for Game 2 at 10 p.m. Tuesday.
