NBA legend makes ridiculous Warriors' Stephen Curry claim after injury

The Golden State Warriors got a massive win on Tuesday night, defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves, 99-88, in the first game of the Western Conference Semifinals.

However, the Warriors lost Stephen Curry early in the game to a hamstring injury. According to Steve Kerr, it doesn't sound like the Warriors' superstar will be back on the court for game two, a concerning sign before they head back to the Bay Area.

Speaking about the injury after the game, NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal suggested that Curry might be starting to break down. He noted how much he moves for a 37-year-old, which is fair to suggest given how the Warriors run their offense.

“Maybe [Steph Curry] is starting to break down. He moves a lot for a 37-year-old,” O’Neal said,” per Yahoo.

While Curry hasn't looked like he's broken down at all over the past few years, it's something that eventually comes for everybody. Whether it be when he's 40, 45, or even after, he likely won't move like he has for the past decade-plus.

For the Warriors, however, there isn't time for them to worry about this injury.

They have some talent to win games, which was evident on Tuesday night.

“Now it’s time for Jimmy [Butler] to step up. Buddy Hield has to be the Buddy Hield he was in that Game 7 in Houston. You miss Steph, you miss a lot. You miss the guy that controlled the floor, you miss the guy who hits a lot of wild timely shots.

“So, Buddy Hield’s gonna have to step up. [Brandin] Podziemski’s gonna have to step up. Everybody’s gonna have to play superb basketball to win,” O’Neal added.
