The Los Angeles Lakers have one of the best duos in the league with LeBron James and Luka Dončić.
Although they have spent just half a season together, they have endured a career's amount of drama in just six months.
With recent contract negotiations between the two and rumors forming, there are still other players with questions regarding their future with the Lakers who have been overlooked -- mainly Austin Reaves.
He recently turned down a contract extension, which will make him an unrestricted free agent next summer.
One executive believes that he did this in order to sign a much larger contract with the Lakers next year, allowing him to increase his earnings.

"I think he will get $30 [million] plus,” an executive told ESPN on Wednesday.
“The expectation, from both that executive and others, is that Reaves ultimately will return to Los Angeles, which would cement Reaves' role as the long-term running mate next to Dončić in L.A.'s backcourt,” ESPN's Tim Bontemps said Wednesday.
Reaves has been quite the surprise for L.A. and averaged 20.2 points per game last season, along with 5.8 assists.
When it was just him and LeBron running the show, Reaves was able to take over if James ever went to the bench, but now it’s different with Dončić in the picture.
Dončić and James make up for a combined $319 million. If the Lakers give Reaves the expected contract, it may leave no wiggle room when making trades in the future.
