NBA champion reveals how Knicks are beating Celtics during playoff series

The Boston Celtics are having a hard time catching up to the New York Knicks as they are in a league of their own.

Despite the Celtics leaping with a 20-point surplus in both Game 1 and Game 2, the Knicks had a perfect comeback.

Currently, they stand at a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference semifinals with a narrow 92-91 victory in their last game.

However, while Boston is still doing the maths to script a turnover, Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau has his men set at every other angle.

Recently, during ESPN’s Get Up section, former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins gave Thibodeau his flowers for his exceptional coaching.

“Tom Thibodeau ... is coaching his ass off right now. That's how they're winning. The coaching and the trust,” Perkins said.

However, he also mentioned the Knicks picking up pace when Tom decided to bench Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns.

During Game 2, the Knicks had a poor start to the game. They went scoreless on their first nine possessions and managed only four points in the first quarter.

The Celtics initially maintained a significant lead, going up by as many as 20 points again in the third quarter. However, the Knicks turned the tide in the second part of the game, outscoring the Celtics 38-17 in the final 15 minutes.
