Myles Garrett ripped by Browns analyst after Steelers postgame comments

The Cleveland Browns dropped to 1-5 on the season Sunday after a 23-9 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Star defensive end Myles Garrett was asked after the game if it was harder to continue playing with the same results week after week, and he provided a one-word answer, "yeah."

Garrett, who had zero sacks and zero quarterback hits throughout the game against an average Steelers offensive line, was made one of the highest-paid players in football this offseason after requesting a trade out of Cleveland.

Tony Rizzo rips Myles Garrett after 'no-show' performance

Browns analyst Tony Rizzo went to town on Garrett during his ESPN Radio show today, calling the star pass rusher out for his post-game responses and "no-show" performance against Pittsburgh.

"I don’t feel sorry for Myles Garrett. Stop with this [expletive]. He’s not a leader. He’s a hired gun, here for money, and he wanted to leave your city and team, end of story. Am I wrong?," Rizzo exclaimed.

"Myles Garrett was a no-show yesterday. He never plays well against the Steelers. Rarely."

While Rizzo's rant was certainly bombastic, he has a point.

The former No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft didn't want to be a Brown anymore after the 2024 season.

After a trade demand went public, Cleveland handed Garrett a four-year, $160 million contract extension that made him the highest-paid non-quarterback at the time.

At that money, wouldn't you have stuck around in Cleveland as well?

Regardless, the Browns move forward after their disappointing division loss and look to get back into the win column next Sunday when the Miami Dolphins come to town.
