Multimillionaire Heather Rae El Moussa clapped back at a “rude” fan who claimed she doesn’t have to worry about money.

The “Selling Sunset” alum insisted she and her husband, Tarek El Moussa, worked hard to build their respective net worths during an Instagram Q&A this week, in which one fan asked her how it feels not to worry about finances.

“I think that’s a very unfair, rude question,” she responded. “I came from a working-class family. We didn’t have a lot of money.”

Heather shared that growing up, her dad was a truck driver who “worked his ass off” to provide for her family.

“I never really saw my dad. He would leave at 5:30 in the morning and get home at 8 o’clock at night to support our family,” she admitted.

“My mom cut hair and then raised us. When she went back to work again, she became a librarian at an elementary school near me and my sister.”

As for her husband, Heather claimed Tarek’s family “came from another country and started their lives here and built everything fresh, from scratch.”

“We didn’t come from money,” she insisted. “Tarek and I, both separately and together, have worked very hard to get where we are today.”

Heather, 38, has a net worth of $3 million according to Celebrity Net Worths, while Tarek has a net worth of $15 million, per the outlet.

She rose to fame on Netflix’s “Selling Sunset” in 2019 as a successful real estate agent selling multi-million dollar properties in Los Angeles.

Tarek, for his part, also got his start in the real estate business, landing his own HGTV show “Flip or Flop” with ex-wife Christina Hall in 2013.

Though Tarek and Hall split in 2017, they continued to star alongside one another on the show.

Since Tarek and Heather tied the knot in 2021, they have successfully blended their families and have starred alongside each other on HGTV’s “Flipping El Moussas,” “The Flip Off” and “Flipping 101.”

The former model is also set to return to “Selling Sunset” for Season 10 following her Season 7 exit.
