Picking the Mount Postmores for some teams was a lot easier than others.

And the Knicks were one of the hardest.

Their 1973 championship team alone included eight future Hall of Famers: Clyde Frazier, Willis Reed, Jerry Lucas, Bill Bradley, Earl Monroe, Dave DeBusschere, Phil Jackson and coach Red Holzman.

They all got serious consideration, and two in particular were right on the cusp.
