Desperate times…

“Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Jessi Draper revealed that Scheana Shay tried to join the Hulu show following her firing from “Vanderpump Rules.”

“I have tea for you about Scheana,” Draper told Stassi Schroeder during the series premiere of “House of Stassi.” “She told me she is walking away from Bravo completely.”

According to Draper, Shay had already pitched herself for the reality series.

“And then [Scheana] goes, ‘So do you have any events coming up? [My husband] Brock [Davies] was Mormon so maybe I can come be on your show,’” Draper recalled.

Schroeder, however, was not at all surprised by her former “VPR” co-star’s antics.

“Scheana loves the spotlight,” she said in a confessional. “I would be more surprised if she didn’t try to get on ‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.’”

Schroeder, 38, continued, “I can’t get away from this woman. Scheana will 100 percent show up at my funeral and make it about her.”

Schroeder and Shay were both original cast members of the Bravo show, which premiered in 2013.

While the “Stassi With Tay” podcaster was fired from the show in 2020 after Season 8, Shay remained on the cast for the first 11 seasons, until the network revamped the show with a brand new cast in 2024.

In May of that year, Shay claimed that executive producer Alex Baskin warned her that she and the rest of her castmates would be fired while filming Season 11.

“I know Alex Baskin has said that midseason, the show was not in a good place,” the reality star, 41, said on her “Scheananigans” podcast at the time.

“It was, you know, ‘X, Y and Z needs to happen. Or we’re going to have a short season and the show’s going to be canceled and that’s it. Go live your lives.’”

The daunting revelation made Shay feel the need to deliver quality content and made her feel “a lot of pressure” throughout filming.

“Well, we don’t want the show to get canceled,’” she explained. “Not just for ourselves and our families, but there’s a crew of 80 to 100 people who work on this show.”

After news of the OG cast being fired was confirmed, a source told People that the entire cast — including Shay — was “understandably upset.”
