Why Mormon Wives' Jessi Draper Wants Her "Old Face Back" After Getting Plastic Surgery
Jessi Draper Ngatikaura isn't keeping this part of her life a secret.
While attending the 2026 Grammys—hosted by Trevor Noah at Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena—on Feb. 1, the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star detailed her decision to candidly share her recovery process after undergoing plastic surgery last month.
"I just think it’s important to be transparent," Jessi, noting she's "still swollen," told Keltie Knight in an exclusive interview during Live From E!: Grammys, "because not everyone just drinks water and works out and looks 20 years younger, you know?" The 33-year-old—who shares kids Jagger, 5, and Jovi, 3, with husband Jordan Ngatikaura—explained that the majority of her costars being in their 20s also weighed into her decision to go under the knife.
"I’m the oldest on my cast so I gotta keep up with the young girls," she added, "and I’m just not afraid to show it because it’s real life."
Jessi's comments followed her documentation of her recovery after undergoing multiple cosmetic procedures on her face, including an upper and lower blepharoplasty and facial fat grafting.
"Believe it or not, this is actually not how I want to look,” she explained in the Jan. 20 video posted to Instagram. “A lot of people in the comments are like, ‘She ruined her face, she looks so scary.’ I’m still healing, I’m swollen."

The Hulu star emphasized, "I want to make it clear: I did not want to look like this. This is not the result I’m going for, but it’s just part of the healing process."
She went on to explain that she would've preferred to look the way she used to, but noted that her current appearance was just temporary.

"I would give anything to have my old face back right now," Jessi said in the clip. "I am hating how I look. This is not what I want to look like, I'm not choosing to look like this… right now, it’s just a mind trip."
