‘Molly Shannon saved SNL!’: Will Ferrell gushes over comedian at Hollywood Walk of Fame

She's a "Superstar"! Molly Shannon was honored on Jun. 22 with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The "Saturday Night Live" comedian — and "The White Lotus" Season 1 alum — reflected on her decades-long career in TV and film. Her former "SNL" co-star, Will Ferrell, also gave a glowing speech, revealing that Shannon's now-ionic character Mary Catherine Gallagher "saved" the struggling sketch comedy show back in the '90s.
