Mohamed Salah has confirmed he will leave Liverpool at the end of the season, bringing an end to a glittering era at Anfield.
The 33-year-old Egypt international revealed the decision in a video message posted on his social media accounts, signalling that his remarkable journey on Merseyside is entering its final chapter.
Salah, who joined Liverpool from Roma in June 2017 and signed a new two-year contract as recently as April 2025, admitted the moment had long felt inevitable.
"Unfortunately the day has come. This is the first part of my farewell," Salah said.
"I will be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season."
