The MLB trade deadline is quickly approaching, giving teams one last chance to upgrade their rosters for the playoff push.
This year, only a few teams are definitely out of the postseason hunt, creating an air of mystery surrounding what trades will look like. That could lead to some surprise sellers or the possibility of two contenders trading with each other more frequently.
The biggest name available is Tarik Skubal, the two-time reigning AL Cy Young winner, as the Detroit Tigers continue to fall in the AL standings. Any team acquiring Skubal would get the benefit of arguably the best pitcher in baseball until he hits free agency this offseason.
