Playoff baseball is underway across the country, and some teams are suiting up for a pivotal Game 3 of the NL Divisional Series round.

The Brewers took a commanding 2-0 series lead over the Padres Sunday night, as Jackson Chourio his a walk-off two-run single off one of the best closers in baseball in Mason Miller. Meanwhile, the Braves bounced back to tie things up at 1-1 with the Dodgers as Atlanta was able to chase Blake Snell early as the hurler racked up give walks in less than four innings.

While sportsbooks are a popular option for wagering on the action, prediction markets are rapidly growing in popularity. Instead of betting against a bookmaker who’s already tilted the odds in favor of the house, this format features users trading against each other on outcomes they believe will happen.

Users who predict correctly will get paid by those who slip up in their decision, and a live market price reflects what the crowd thinks will happen at a given moment.

Now is the perfect time for sports fans to use prediction markets. New users can get started with the TSN promo code for a $75 prediction bonus on ProphetX. The Sporting News shares knowledge on the best prediction market apps to use for the riveting MLB NLDS slate, including the best offers and information about each platform.

Milwaukee's 2026 regular season was virtually hiccup-free. They finished as the top seed in the NL with a 103-59 record, even beating the Dodgers' 100-62 mark, and 24-year-old Jacob Misiorowski is already a bona fide star who led the league in strikeouts (252) and WHIP (0.80). Now, they have one more game to win before this prediction cashes. The Brewers have traditionally fallen short every postseason, but a team boasting the league's best cumulative batting average, second-most runs, and second-fewest opponent batting average and bases allowed seems poised for greatness. Even if they fall to the Dodgers again in the NLCS, they should be able to get by San Diego beforehand.

It doesn't seem to matter where the Dodgers finish each season. It's usually atop the National League, but this year, they possess the No. 2 seed. After a two-run win in their first NLDS game, the Dodgers fell to the Braves 3-2, which means they'll be heading on the road to a hostile Atlanta that is praying with everything they've got to see Los Angeles fall. The Dodgers not leading this series is tremendous value that shouldn't be ignored. Take this line, and run.

Tuesday's Game 3 features one of the best pitching matchups of the postseason so far. Chris Sale, at 37 years old, and Yoshinobu Yamamoto will both be wheeling and dealing when they're called upon. Atlanta batters have a .158 average when facing LA's ace throughout their careers, while Sale looked dominant during the first six innings of his Game 1 start against Philadelphia. Runs will be a luxury in this contest, so don't be afraid to capitalize on that.

What this matchup boils down to is which side's pitcher has fewer question marks. That method of thinking gives a slight advantage to San Diego, who will be playing in their home Petco Park for Games 3 and 4 (if applicable). For Milwaukee, Dustin May hasn't gone over three innings since Sept. 11th, and has allowed 2+ runs in each of those starts. Nick Pivetta, on the other hand, hasn't pitched very long either, but his ball club has looked better in his recent starts. It's arguable that San Diego should be up 2-0 with a ceiling controversy in Milwaukee and Mason Miller's uncharacteristic blown save. They're due for a win and they should prevail in front of their home crowd.

While Atlanta may not be able to beat the Dodgers two more times, they are more than capable of stealing their first of two home games in this series. The Braves seem to have briefly swung the momentum in their favor, and Truist Park should be quite the setting for anyone who doesn't like Los Angeles. They'll have Sale on the mound for the pivotal Game 3 matchup on Tuesday evening, but Yamamoto coming out of LA's dugout is a force to be reckoned with as well.

Despite San Diego entering this series with the Brewers in the midst of a massive run-scoring streak, they haven't been able to hit four runs in two straight affairs, and both of their games have fallen under seven total runs. That stretch is likely to continue when Nick Pivetta and Dustin May share the mound late on Tuesday night. Both of these clubs have a tremendous bullpen, outside of Mason Miller's uncharacteristic choke in Milwaukee this past weekend. If each starter can do their job, this should be this series' third game in a row that falls under its run projection.
