The top two teams in the American League face off one last time Monday with a long-awaited World Series berth on the line.
The Blue Jays forced a Game 7 with a 6-2 win Sunday, pounding out 11 hits before a frenzied Rogers Centre crowd as rookie Trey Yesavage and two relievers limited the Mariners' offense to one extra-base hit.
Toronto will send Shane Bieber to the mound in the series finale, with George Kirby set to start for Seattle. It will be all hands on deck, though, as both franchises try to make that final step that has eluded them for decades.
The Blue Jays haven't reached the World Series since winning back-to-back titles in 1992-93, while the Mariners have never played in the Fall Classic since joining the league in 1977.
