After an off-day yesterday, our assault on the MLB player props market continues today. It may be an abbreviated 10-game slate, but there’s still plenty of value to be found. We’ve identified our three favorite wagers, starting in Seattle, where the Mariners host the Athletics.

Cal Raleigh Over 1.5 Hits, Runs, and RBI (-140 at Bet365)

We’re betting over 1.5 hits, runs, and RBI for Seattle’s Cal Raleigh. The 28-year-old is on a tear over the last week, slashing .353/.500/.765. Raleigh is a significantly more productive hitter from the left side, where he’ll bat today versus the A’s Luis Severino.

Raleigh is 2-for-4 in his career versus the righty, with a home run and 2 RBI. Severino is yielding a .260/.318/.416 slash line to left-handed batters this season, and a 44% hard hit rate.

Miles Mikolas Under 3.5 Strikeouts (-102 at FanDuel)

Next up, we’re targeting the under on Miles Mikolas’ 3.5 strikeouts prop. Mikolas has exceeded this line only twice in six starts, and somehow we were on the losing end of both times. Nevertheless, we will not be deterred. Mikolas is pitching to contact this season more than ever and is generating a minimal amount of swings and misses.

Through six starts, his swing and miss rate is a career-low 6.1%. His average fastball velocity of 91.9 mph is also the lowest of his MLB tenure, and he hasn’t had much success fanning Monday’s opponent, Pittsburgh.

Pirates batters have a lifetime strikeout rate of just 16.9% against Mikolas. The sample size isn’t small, as that’s over 142 career at-bats. Mikolas’ K/9 rate sits at 5.3 this season, meaning he’ll likely need 7 innings of work to reach 4 strikeouts tonight. The 36-year-old hasn’t gone that deep into a start since June 11th of last season.

Agustin Ramriez Under 0.5 Hits (+155 at Bet365)

Our final target is under 0.5 hits for Miami’s Agustin Ramirez at +155 odds. Ramirez has been ice cold over the last week, posting a 0.91 batting average. He’s hitless in two straight and five of his last six games overall, as he struggles to deal with MLB pitching as a rookie.

Life won’t get any easier tonight with the reigning World Series champion Dodgers in town. LA is set to throw a bullpen game, deploying Ben Casparius as the opener. The 26-year-old has a career 10.5 K/9 rate over parts of two seasons, while only six teams have surrendered fewer hits than the Dodgers collection of hurlers this season.
