Six relievers will become free agents for the New York Yankees this offseason.
Michael Fulmer, Ryan Yarbrough, John Schreiber, Tim Hill, Paul Blackburn, and David Bednar will all reach free agency after the World Series.
That likely means there will be a lot of moving parts in the bullpen in the next few months.
Hill has been with the Yankees for parts of the last three seasons, but his time with the organization may be finished, The Athletic's Chris Kirschner wrote.
"Hill posted a 4.60 ERA and allowed 12 home runs, tied for the second most among relievers who pitched at least 50 innings this season.
"Righties hit a .908 OPS against Hill, making him unusable against teams without a lineup loaded with lefties," Kirschner wrote.
"The Yankees' need for Hill as a lefty specialist has decreased with Brent Headrick's rise and Ryan Yarbrough's success. It would be surprising if he returns," he added.
At his best, Hill is a funky sidewinder that generates plenty of ground balls.

Even so, the Yankees left him off the postseason roster due to his struggles against right-handed hitters and general ineffectiveness.
Perhaps he's most famous for a game he didn't pitch in, when Aaron Boone opted to use Nestor Cortes instead of Hill against Freddie Freeman in Game 1 of the 2024 World Series.
Hill should be able to find a job in someone's bullpen, but it probably won't be the Yankees.
