Wrestling star Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) now has a new nickname bestowed upon him by a wrestling legend. The star is currently away from AEW, working on a project outside the company.

Maxwell has been off AEW TV since his recent loss to Mark Briscoe at All Out. The star is currently filming a film, Violent Night 2. He is still under contract with AEW, but there is no clear timeline regarding his return. programming.

On a recent post on social media, veteran wrestling manager and valet Missy Hyatt shared an interesting picture. She shared a snap with former AEW World Champion, Friedman . She wished her fans and the wrestling star a Happy Hanukkah. The veteran also referred to the star as the "Tribal Leader," drawing parallels with The Bloodline and Roman Reigns referring to himself as the Tribal Chief. In fact, Hyatt called herself the wise woman, much like Paul Heyman being the Wiseman for the faction back in the day.

MJF may return to AEW soon

Since the establishment of AEW back in 2019, MJF has been a prominent star for the promotion. In fact, he became the longest-reigning AEW World Champion, holding on to the title for a record 406 days.

Friedman was chasing another world title when he had to take time off to film the movie Violent Night 2. His last televised match was at AEW All Out back in September, where he lost to Mark Briscoe.
