Missing Raisel Iglesias has not slowed down the dominant Braves' relief corps

During the offseason, the Atlanta Braves addressed their bullpen concerns. They decided to re-sign their closer, Raisel Iglesias, on the free agent market, but that was not all they did.

They went out and signed Robert Suarez on the free agent market as well. And he has been great in the high-leverage role with his new club.

Going into Tuesday's games, Atlanta currently holds the 4th-lowest bullpen ERA and is tied for the second-most saves across MLB, and they're doing it without their closer.

Missing Raisel Iglesias has not slowed down the dominant Braves' relief corps

Unfortunately, the Braves have been without their closer, Iglesias, for over a week now. He was placed on the 15-day IL last Tuesday after developing right shoulder inflammation after sleeping on his shoulder incorrectly.

Despite that, the bullpen has been solid. They hold a 4-2 record since last Tuesday, and Robert Suarez has taken over the closer role.

But it isn't just Suarez that has stepped up. Bleacher Report's Kerry Miller ranks this bullpen No. 2 across MLB with a big push from Tyler Kinley and Dylan Lee.

"Raisel Iglesias is presently on the IL after a bad night of sleep on his shoulder, but Atlanta is soldiering on just fine without him so far. The Braves have racked up 11 saves and 17 holds, with their first blown save of the season coming on Saturday. The law firm of (Robert) Suarez, (Tyler) Kinley and (Dylan) Lee has been virtually untouchable, making any late-inning deficit against this team feel almost insurmountable."

The only other bullpen that Miller feels outclasses Atlanta's is the San Diego Padres, thanks in large part to the success that Mason Miller is currently having. If it weren't for him, the Braves would be the clear No. 1 bullpen here.
