English author J.K. Rowling has blasted former CNN host Don Lemon for her recent comments on Megyn Kelly. For the unversed, in a recent episode of the Clip Farmers podcast, Don Lemon said that conservative political commentator Kelly "looks trans."
During the episode, podcast member John Catter asked Lemon, "Is Megyn Kelly chopped?" He explained to the former news host that "chopped" means "like not hot." In his response, Don Lemon said:
"Yeah, she's chopped. It's a lot of hairpieces and makeup and it's like, too, I don't know, the whole MAGA look... I think she looks trans. She looks, as they say, she looks clockable."Lemon received a backlash for his "trans" remark. J.K. Rowling also slammed the journalist for his comments. In her Friday tweet, Rowling wrote:
"They tell on themselves constantly when they say women who stand up for women’s rights look like men. It’s the new ‘I never met a pretty feminist.’ Like every other dangerous virus, misogyny mutates to survive."They tell on themselves constantly when they say women who stand up for women’s rights look like men. It’s the new ‘I never met a pretty feminist.’ Like every other dangerous virus, misogyny mutates to survive.
Megyn Kelly remained a critic of Don Lemon and often slammed him in her show and tweets. At the same time, the conservative podcaster often expressed support for J.K. Rowlin's views by reposting her X posts.

J.K. Rowling and Megyn Kelly's reaction to Glamour magazine's new cover
On Wednesday, Glamour magazine issued its Women of the Year issue for 2025. On the cover of the latest issue, nine trans women were featured. They were posing in white T-shirts reading "Protect the Dolls."
J.K. Rowling, known for her sharp take on the LGBTQ community, reacted to the magazine cover in her October 30 X post. J.K. Rowling wrote:
"I grew up in an era when mainstream women’s magazines told girls they needed to be thinner and prettier. Now mainstream women’s magazines tell girls that men are better women than they are."In the October 30 episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, the right-wing political commentator also discussed the Glamour magazine's cover with Allie Beth Stuckey. During the conversation, Kelly shared the cover picture while calling it "egregious." She described the cover as:
"We have nine people here who look like women, sort of, in skimpy little shirts that read something about the dolls and it says, 'Protect the Dolls.' And it's not like 'see if you can find the trans person in here.' They're all trans. All nine of these people are men pretending to be women. And the cover literally reads 'Women of the Year.'"The podcaster further read the interviews of the models who posed for the magazine issue and took a jab at them. Further in the segment, Kelly touched on Sydney Sweeney's recent red carpet appearance in a sheer dress. The former news host criticized the actress for her fashion choice.
However, Kelly added that she would rather see Sweeney in that dress than look at the magazine cover.
"I'd much rather look at Sydney Sweeney in a sheer dress at whatever event this was than look at nine fake women on the cover of UK Glamour. Much rather," Kelly commented.Elsewhere in the podcast, Megyn Kelly and the host of Relatable discussed several other political issues.
