Minecraft has a lot of different items that make the gameplay experience more fun and redstone items are one of those. It works like an electrical device that can give signals and operate other machines. There are many fascinating things that talented builders have made, including automatic machines, displays, and even functional computers.
A Minecraft player, u/Successfulfailure69, posted some images on the game’s subreddit where other builders show off their creations in the blocky world. The pictures featured a well-designed ice boat racing track with impressive details such as advertisement boards, audience seats, other buildings, etc.
However, the impressive part of the build was the use of redstone to make a timer, allowing players to track their lap timings. The entire build looked like the Minecraft version of an F1 racing track.
u/TCKreddituser commended the builder for making such a beautiful track. They also added that the texture pack made things look even better. The original poster replied that it was the F1 2025 cars texture pack by AdamixGaming that made the boats look like F1 cars. The builder also made matching racing suits with dyed armor to make things even more immersive.
Redditors react to the ice boat racing track in the game (Image via Reddit)u/Biticalifi asked how wide these racing tracks were. The original poster answered that they were 11 blocks wide at most parts. They continued further that it was made using Axiom, WorldEdit, and other tools such as commands to make things easier and more accurate. They also left a command to fill up the space with packed ice that was used to make the track.
u/DrWilliamHorriblePhD asked if there were any download links for other players to try out the track. However, the original poster did not reply to their comment. u/Nik3nOl expressed their desire to see a proper racing championship with different tracks in different regions of Minecraft.
Incredible builds in Minecraft using redstone
A Minecraft player made an LLM model in the game (Image via YouTube/sammyuri)Redstone is one of those items in Minecraft that can be useful for almost any build. It can be incorporated in simple structures to make basic items such as automatically opening doors, item sorter, and other detectors for better protection against hostile mobs.
However, once a player understands the basics of redstone and other related items, they can create things in the blocky world that seem impossible. For example, recently a redstone engineer made a large-language model like ChatGPT in the game using a massive and complicated redstone circuit.
While it was very slow and barely useful, it showed how redstone can be used to create almost anything in the blocky world. Others have created machines such as a functional and decently powerful computer, and even the Minesweeper game.
