Minecraft continues to be the bestselling title of all time, with millions of players yearning for the mines every day. The developers are known for their extensive collaborations, and now they have joined hands with the developers of Candy Crush to unveil Mojang's new mobile game, Blast.

Mojang has a long history of expanding the block-shaped world into exciting IPs like Legends and Dungeons. These titles take a creative spin on the iconic game and create unique worlds based on it. Now, they have partnered with the creators of Candy Crush to unveil Minecraft Blast, a new mobile game based on the universe.

Blast is set to be a free-to-play mobile game that will combine modern match puzzle gameplay with ever-evolving scenarios set in a Minecraft-themed world. Similar to Candy Crush, it will offer easy-to-jump-in and play sessions as well as the ability to craft engaging Minecraft-style spaces.

The developers are currently set to roll out a limited playtest in Malaysia, with the promise of more regions in the future. The first playtest will be available to iOS users in English for Malaysia. The developers have confirmed that they plan on including more platforms and languages in the coming days.

This playtest will allow players to enjoy a small segment of the content featuring core gameplay mechanics. Mojang has partnered with iconic developer King to create Minecraft Blast, which is set to be a unique take on the classic block-shaped world of the iconic title.

However, the developers have not announced a release date or an estimated time of arrival for the title. Gamers will have to look out for official announcements or teasers from both Mojang and King to see when they can get their hands on this upcoming mobile title.
