David Harbour Breaks Silence on Reported Millie Bobby Brown Harassment Claim
Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour aren’t in Hawkins anymore.
But they are, however, set to share the screen again—on Netflix no less. The Stranger Things costars will once again play a father and daughter in an upcoming A24 series written by Emmy-winning Adolescence writer Jack Thorne, the streamer announced June 26.
As for what fans can expect from their latest venture, which they will also executive produce, the series description teases, "Disgraced FBI agent turned security expert Matt Wolfe (Harbour) is drawn back into the world he left behind when his estranged daughter, Rebecca (Brown)—now an FBI agent determined to follow in his footsteps—vanishes on a mission, forcing him to return to a field that has evolved beyond him."
News of Brown, 22, and Harbour's on-screen reunion comes less than a year after Stranger Things—on which they played Eleven and her adoptive father Jim Hopper, respectively—ended with its fifth and final season.
However, their decade on the science-fiction series wasn’t without its hurdles as Enola Holmes actress reportedly filed a harassment and bullying claim against Harbour during the final season.
The 51-year-old subsequently addressed the reports about the claim, clearing the air on any lingering bad blood between him and Brown.
“It’s simple. It was just a simple rupture-and-repair thing that, once we cleared everybody out of the way and talked to each other, we’re fine,” Harbour told Variety in an interview published June 10. “Everyone nowadays is very scared of talking about things. People are very scared of being human.”

“It’s a show that went on for 10 years,” Harbour explained. “We worked together for 10 years during her formative teenage years, playing father and daughter. I don’t know if people have families and friends that you spend a lot of time with for 10 years—you occasionally get in arguments, disagreements.”
In fact, the Hellboy actor had also teased his still-untitled upcoming project with Brown at the time.

“You’ll see more of me and Millie—10 years wasn’t enough,” he shared. “There is a special bond there. I love her. She loves me.”
For her part, Brown also emphasized the close bond she and the Marvel actor share.
“Obviously I changed so much from Season one to Season five, and David was there through all of it,” she told the outlet in an email. “Over time, our relationship became much more collaborative creatively. When you work with someone for that many years, we could really push each other emotionally in scenes.”
“Even though the series has ended, there’s still a lot of gratitude,” she added. “Getting to share that experience with him for so many years is something I’ll always remember and value.”
