The Rangers had their mental strength rightfully called into question during last year’s implosion.
It hasn’t been a topic of conversation as much this season, especially since the team’s construction, inconsistent efforts and non-existent depth have absorbed much of the blame.
After the 10-goal catastrophe in Boston, however, the team’s mental fortitude has become relevant again.
“It should be understood what it means to lose a game like that,” Mika Zibanejad told The Post Monday morning before the Rangers took on the Kraken at Madison Square Garden.
