While the Michigan-Ohio State rivalry is perhaps the most notable rivalry in the sport, the Wolverines have just as much - if not more - animosity towards their Big Ten adversaries from an hour's drive Northwest.
Michigan defensive linemen Derrick Moore, Rayshaun Benny, and Tre Williams shared as much during a charity golf event, according to Tony Garcia of the Detroit Free Press.
The trio was asked about their matchup with the Michigan State Spartans at the golf tournament, and their answers were quite colorful.
When asked about the game, Benny said, "That's at little bro stadium this year."
According to Garcia, Benny was asked to clarify who "little bro" is, which he confirmed to be Michigan State. Moore added, "They know who they is."
Williams then made an invitation to the crowd to travel to East Lansing and support his team on October 25.
"Go to little bro crib in East Lansing, pop out, it's going to be a good time," he said. "Maize and blue only."
Garcia recalled the interesting exchange that happened next.
Garcia wrote, "At that point, Moore, who was holding the microphone, reached down to his waist and ripped off his belt before he began smacking it on the grass in front of him three times in a row, along with Benny and Williams simulating the motion along side of him as they laughed."
"Belt all to they behind," Williams added.
The Wolverines have won the last three games of this rivalry as well as five of the last seven. The last time these two teams faced off in East Lansing, the Wolverines won 49-0.
