Michigan high school softball quarterfinals: Schedule, how to watch

High school softball in the state of Michigan is now in its quarterfinal round.

The Michigan High School Athletic Association is holding the softball quarterfinals for all divisions on Tuesday.

In Division 1, quarterfinal games include Grosse Pointe South against Utica Ford, set for 6 p.m. ET at Wayne State University in Detroit; South Lyon against Walled Lake Northern, set for 4:30 p.m. ET at Northville High School; Grand Ledge against Hudsonville, set for 4 p.m. ET at Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant; and Saline against Brownstown Woodhaven, set for 4:30 p.m. ET at Ypsilanti Lincoln.

The quarterfinals in Division 2 are: Carleton Airport against Dearborn Divine Child, set for 4 p.m. ET at Wayne State University; Paw Paw against Coldwater, set for 5 p.m. ET at Battle Creek (Bailey Park); Escanaba against Hudsonville Unity Christian, set for 1 p.m. ET at Central Michigan University; and Richmond against Goodrich, set for 6 p.m. ET at Marysville (City Park).

In Division 3, the four quarterfinal matchups are: Laingsburg against Grass Lake at 4 p.m. ET at Jackson College; Algonac against Millington, set for 1 p.m. ET at Mott Community College in Flint; Gladstone against Clare, set for 4:30 p.m. ET at Cheboygan High School; and Ravenna against Buchanan, set for 3 p.m. ET at Kalamazoo College.

Then in Division 4, the four quarterfinals are: Holton against Saginaw Michigan Lutheran Seminary, set for 4 p.m. ET at Ferris State University in Big Rapids; Plymouth Christian Academy against Unionville-Sebewaing, set for 4 p.m. ET at Mott Community College in Flint; Mendon against Manchester, set for 3 p.m. ET at Battle Creek (Bailey Park); and Bessemer against Hillman, set for 4 p.m. ET at Sault Ste. Marie (Locey Softball Field).

Only two quarterfinal games will be aired Tuesday via the NFHS Network: The Division 3 quarterfinal between Millington and Algonac, and the Division 4 quarterfinal between Plymouth Christian Academy and Unionville-Sebewaing.

The MHSAA semifinal games will take place Thursday and Friday at Secchia Stadium on the Michigan State University campus in East Lansing. Then the finals, also at MSU, will be held on Saturday.

The first pitch for the Division 3 quarterfinal between Millington and Algonac will be held at 1 p.m. ET on Tuesday, while the Division 4 quarterfinal between Plymouth Christian Academy against Unionville-Sebewaing is set for 4 p.m. ET. Both games will take place at Mott Community College in Flint.
