Michelle Wie West is coming back swinging — literally.

The five-time LPGA Tour winner is returning to professional golf as part of the WTGL after leaving the sport in 2023, TMRW Sports announced Monday.

Set to launch in the winter of 2026-27, the WTGL is an indoor team golf league that’s in partnership with the LPGA. The league will compete at the SoFi Center in Florida, the same venue used by the men’s TGL, founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.

“As an investor in Los Angeles Golf Club and a fan of TGL, I’m excited for the chance to compete again through WTGL, which will be a powerful platform for women’s golf,” Wie West, 36, said in a release.

“I’m passionate about growing the game, and TGL has proved how new formats through the lens of innovation and creativity can bring golf to a broader audience. The team aspect, matched with the unique environment at SoFi Center, is something I want to be part of and it’s going to be incredibly fun to challenge myself, this time alongside teammates, to compete against the best in the world.”

In addition to Wie West, who last played competitively at the 2023 U.S. Women’s Open, the current roster of WTGL committed players includes: Jeeno Thitikul (Thailand, No. 1), Charley Hull (England, No. 3), Lydia Ko (New Zealand, No. 6), Lottie Woad (England, No. 8), Brooke Henderson (Canada, No. 18), Rose Zhang (United States, No. 65), and Lexi Thompson (United States, No. 83), per the release.

The WTGL will operate independently of the TGL.

The LPGA and TMRW Sports announced the formation of WTGL in January.

Wie West previously spoke to The Post about retiring on her own terms after dealing with a multitude of injuries.

“It’s interesting because when you play professional sports that takes up like 100 percent of your mind space,” she told The Post in September. “I look up to moms in sports, or moms in general, other moms, because we have to kind of divide and conquer all these different categories, but it’s been really nice to have kind of like this guilt-free time with my kids right now.”

The 2014 U.S. Women’s Open Champion is married to Jonnie West, the son of the late NBA legend Jerry West. They share daughter Makenna Kamalei Yoona West, 5, and son Jagger Jerry YooJun West, 1.

Wie West is also the host for the Mizuho Americas Open, which takes place in New Jersey in early May.
