Michelle Obama is setting the record straight.
The former first lady issued a bold statement regarding the rumored “problems” in her and Barack Obama’s marriage.
The 61-year-old laughed off split speculation on Thursday’s episode of “The Diary of a CEO with Steven Bartlett,” saying “everybody would know” if the couple were struggling.
“He would know it,” Michelle said, referencing her brother and “IMO” podcast co-host, Craig Robinson. “And everybody would know it.”
“I’m not a martyr,” she continued. “I would be problem solving in public. ‘Let me tell you what he did.'”
Her sibling, 63, joked, “If they were having a problem, I would be doing a podcast with him.”

Elsewhere in the conversation, Michelle insisted that she and Barack, also 63, would never “quit at” their decades-long romance.
The duo have been married since October 1992 and are the parents of daughters Malia, 26, and Sasha, 23.
“That’s not who we are,” Michelle told listeners. “And I know that about him. He knows that about me.”
Rumors of marital troubles began in January when Barack stepped out solo for President Jimmy Carter’s funeral and President Trump’s inauguration back-to-back.
Page Six reported at the time that Michelle had “checked out” of Washington, D.C., life.
She defended her absence on Thursday’s episode, saying, “I feel like now I have permission to do what I want to do.”
The former lawyer said she now checks in with herself before making decisions.
She noted, “As a … person who has been box-checking her whole life, doing the right thing, trying to always be an example, always going high, I think now I earned a little bit of, ‘Well, how do I feel?’”
Ultimately, Michelle decided attending Trump’s swearing-in ceremony wasn’t worth “up-ending” her life and leaving her “peace and [her] children.”
She shared the same sentiment on last week’s “IMO” episode, calling her snub “hard” but “right.”
Barack, for his part, dished candidly on the ups and downs of his relationship with his “forgiving” wife last month.
The duo have repeatedly shut down divorce rumors with loved-up social media snaps in recent months.
