Micah Parsons trolls Rams star Myles Garrett ahead of NFL training camps

Micah Parsons is filled with confidence. But maybe a little too much at times.

During his live podcast show, “The Edge with Micah Parsons,” Parsons had newly acquired Rams defensive end Myles Garrett as a guest on his show and wasn’t shy to tell him that he thinks he is better than him.

“I still think I’m right here. Cause I still do things that I think none of y’all do,” Parsons said to Garrett during the show, to which Garrett replied, “Who is none of y’all?”

Parsons quickly responded to Garrett and told him that he does things that Garrett, Will Anderson of the Texans and the rest of the NFL don’t do on the field, leaving Garrett and the crowd sitting in the stands surrounded by awkward silence.

A year ago, Garrett showed why he is the best defensive player after earning his second career NFL Defensive Player of the Year award when he broke the NFL single-season sack record by recording 23 sacks.

Parsons said he believes he is better on the defensive line because of his ability to play any position on the line, despite Garrett having a sack at every spot on the line.

Parsons then went on to bring up his weight, playing last season at 250 pounds, while Garrett played last season at 272, to which Garrett responded by taking a shot by saying, “I can’t be 240. That’s not what I’m asked to do. I actually got to set the edge. Play the run. Get [tackles for loss].” That left the crowd in laughter after he called out Parsons.

Parsons told Garrett it would take him two years to break his sacks record because he will return in the middle of next season after recovering from a torn ACL he sustained in December.

The bantering continued during the show as Parsons brought up that he had 79 quarterback pressures in 14 games, to which Garrett hilariously responded by saying, “What do you want. Sacks? Or pressures?” He also mentioned that in 13 games last season, he had 18 sacks, leaving Parsons speechless and jokingly calling it “suspicious.”
