The Miami Hurricanes football program's draft eligible players will be a constant in this NFL Draft, especially early. Head coach Mario Cristobal could see in the ballpark 15 of his players drafted. The question is who and where?
Francis "Sisi" Mauigoa and Rueben Bain Jr should not have to wait long to hear their names called. As is the case with all of Miami's players, the order of who goes first, second, third, etc. is still very much up in the air.
In an ideal world, Mauigoa is a lock to go in the top 5. However, this draft lacks elite 'left' tackle options at the top. Bain would also be a lock in at least the top 10 based on production. However, the short arms aspect is creating some hesitation.
After the big two, Akheem Mesidor could go anywhere from the teens in the first round to the end of the second round. Keionte Scott is right outside the first tier of cornerbacks. Markel Bell should be an option in the middle rounds. Carson Beck and CJ Daniels are rising as of late. Jakobe Thomas could factor in between day 2 and day 3. While Wesley Bissainthe could be a real riser, his teams see him as a LB to S conversion.
James Brockermeyer (center), Ethan O'Connor (cornerback), Damari Brown (cornerback), Samson Okunlola (offensive tackle), and Raul Aguirre Jr (linebacker) could also factor in as deep sleepers.
