The footage appeared to show several separate skirmishes breaking out at once, making it difficult to determine who was involved or what initially sparked the confrontation.

The incident occurred in front of a near-capacity crowd of approximately 75,000 fans who packed the Rose Bowl to watch Mexico’s final match in the United States before the World Cup begins next month.

While no major injuries or arrests have been reported from the incident, the fight serves as another reminder of the multiple challenges that accompany high-profile international sporting events.

Los Angeles is set to play host to eight World Cup games in the coming weeks.
