Melania Trump steps onto world stage with UN, NYSE and China state dinner events designed with ‘relentless attention to detail’

WASHINGTON — Melania Trump will race from New York’s global stage to White House diplomacy as she gears up for one of her busiest weeks as first lady. 

Over the next four days, Trump will expand her Fostering the Future program, meet with top women business CEOs, and host the president and first lady of China — with countless outfit changes in between.

She has spent months planning the events, taking a hands-on approach to present America at its best.

Trump pushed back against reports that she has “disappeared” and rejected any implication she is not hard at work, noting much of what she does is behind the scenes as she coordinates details and personally oversees each event. 

“The world will witness 3 impactful events, but what it won’t see is the months of vision, preparation, and relentless attention to detail required to create them,” she wrote on social media.

Events of this scale require weeks of planning and coordination across the government, with a focus on details and logistics.

The lineup begins on Tuesday with a series of big announcements tied to the expansion of her Fostering the Future Together program. That event, in New York City on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, will feature 57 spouses of world leaders. 

The global coalition aims to empower children through education and technology and has been one of Trump’s major aims in her second term.

On Wednesday, she’ll ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange and then headline the IMPERIA Summit from the NYSE, a gathering focusing on the global economic power of women.

“The room will be filled with the most powerful women in the business sector,” Marc Beckman, Trump’s Exclusive Senior Advisor, told The Post.

“She intends to harness that collective strength, bringing together some of the world’s most influential executives around a shared vision for economic empowerment.”

Trump will be back in Washington DC on Thursday, where she and President Trump will welcome Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan for a state visit.

The official welcome ceremony will include 479 military personnel, representing all branches of the United States Armed Forces; a military review; a performance of the Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps; and a military flyover featuring a B-2 Spirit and four F-22 Raptors.

While the two presidents meet, Trump and Madame Peng Liyuan will visit the Smithsonian National Museum of Asian Art to examine artworks. 

Later that night, the president and first lady will host a state dinner.

On Friday, the Chinese will conclude their visit. The two couples will visit the National Archives to view a variety of important records and documents significant to the American and Chinese relationship throughout history. Then the Trumps will bid their guests farewell.
