Meghan Markle Shares Rare Glimpse of Her, Prince Harry's “Dream Girl” Lilibet on 5th Birthday
Meghan Markle’s daughter is the queen of her heart.
The As Ever founder shared a touching birthday tribute to her and husband Prince Harry’s second born Princess Lilibet to celebrate her 5th birthday on June 4.
“Our dream girl,” Meghan posted on Instagram. “Happy 5th birthday, Lili.”
Alongside the heartfelt message, the 44-year-old also included two photos of Lilibet, including a sweet snap of her in her dad’s arms with Meghan and Harry looking at her adoringly. In the second, Lili and her fiery red hair are standing among the grass, gently touching a flower.
Since becoming a mom for the second time, Meghan—who is also mom to son Prince Archie, 7—has been open about how every stage of motherhood has felt different.
“When your children get to a certain age—when you’re not just playing in the sandbox with them but almost playing in your own sandbox again—it’s super joyful,” she told People in 2025. “As a woman, a mom and a wife, to be able to find yourself again—in a way that was always present but that you maybe couldn’t put as much attention on as you now can when your kids are a little bit older—is a wonderful feeling.”
And the With Love, Meghan alum has been especially vocal about wanting to protect the “safe haven” she and husband Harry have been able to create for their children since moving to California from the U.K. in 2020.
“We’re a close-knit family, and I love those moments,” she said, “putting Lili down for a nap, having lunch together, having sacred time together at the end of the day.”
Her family has also been the inspiration for Meghan as she has worked to expand her lifestyle brand.
“Being able to have my own little girl, as I’ve spent so much of my life championing the rights of girls and women,” she shared, “and to be able to see this as a multigenerational story—Archie is of course included in that, my husband is of course included in that—but I love the heritage feeling of it and knowing this is something that I can create in front of my daughter and teach her what it’s like to be a working mom.”
Meghan added, “This is something that hopefully can be part of her legacy too.”
