Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson are officially over.

On Saturday, April 25, the rapper claimed on social media that Thompson has been cheating on her.

“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet’ Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous’???? bitch I need a REAL break after this one .. bye yall,” Megan wrote on her Instagram Story at the time.

Now, Megan is confirming that the relationship is officially over and has broken up with the Dallas Mavericks star.

“I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay," Megan said in a statement per People. "Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward. I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”

The two have been dating for roughly nine months but have shared a lot of milestones together. Thompson walked the red carpet at her Pete & Thomas Foundation, having Thanksgiving with his family, and celebrating their February birthdays together. Thompson gifted the rapper a powder-blue Bentley for her 31st birthday.

Back in January, she gushed about her relationship with People about feeling comfortable in the relationship.

“Well, I don't never want to tell [anybody] to just jump in a relationship just because everybody else got one, and I'm not going to tell you to just jump in a relationship because you have to,” the three-time Grammy winner said. “I didn't even know I was going to be in my relationship, to be honest.”

She admitted that, “This is one of the first times that I've ever been just overly comfortable."

At this time, Thompson has not reacted to the accusations.
