Meg Ryan and Daughter Daisy, 21, Make Rare Public Appearance
Meg Ryan is sleepless in London.
The When Harry Met Sally star stepped out in the U.K. city alongside her 21-year-old daughter Daisy True Ryan on Oct. 13.
For their outing in Notting Hill, Meg kept it casual in a black puffer jacket, dark blue jeans and Salomon sneakers. To top off her look, the 63-year-old accessorized with a crossbody black bag and matching sunglasses.
As for Daisy—who Meg welcomed through adoption in 2006—she looked equally well-dressed for the cooler weather, opting to wear dark blue jeans, Converse shoes and a black long-sleeved T-shirt with a gray jacket over top. To finish off her ensemble, she rocked square-framed reading glasses and held on to a Voss water bottle as she and her mom carried on a conversation.
Meg and Daisy's autumn stroll marked the first time the pair have made a public appearance together since last October, when they were seen walking around New York City while eating delicious apples.
Of course, Meg doesn't only have a strong bond with Daisy. She's also highlighted having a special connection with her 33-year-old son Jack Quaid, whom she shares with ex Dennis Quaid.

"They're just a blast," Meg said of her two kids in a 2023 interview with People, adding that raising them has been a "true joy."
"It is a joy to me to know both of them," she continued. "Each of them are so different. They are hilarious, they're smart, they're kind, they're interested in other people, they're curious about the world."
That's why she's so thankful she chose to adopt Daisy nearly two decades ago.

“I always thought I’d adopt, and at various points, I was on the brink of it,” Meg told The Sunday Times in 2024. “But it was particular to Daisy, I guess. I don’t know how events conspired to bring us together, but it was perfect.”
