Meet Titans' Elic Ayomanor, Cam Ward's new weapon who dominated Travis Hunter

Titans' new franchise quarterback Cam Ward just got a fellow rookie to throw to in his first season.

In the fourth round at pick 136, the Titans selected Elic Ayomanor a wide receiver out of Stanford.

The Canada native is 6-foot-2, 206 pounds and known for his ability to grab contested catches.

His biggest claim to fame? A matchup versus Heisman-winning cornerback Travis Hunter.

Elic Ayomanor's legendary game vs. Travis Hunter

Ayomanor put on a show in front of the entire nation two seasons ago.

Stanford was a heavy underdog facing Colorado in October of 2023. The team with Travis Hunter and star QB Shedeur Sanders jumped out to an early 29-0 lead. The game looked to be over, but Ayomanor had the night of his life.

He finished with 13 catches for 294 yards and 3 touchdowns being shadowed by Hunter. Ayomanor scored one of those touchdowns catching the ball over the head of the cornerback.

Stanford came back to win 46-43 in double OT.

The two will have plenty of chances to face off in the foreseeable future. Hunter was drafted by the Jaguars, while Ayomanor goes to the Titans. Both teams are in the AFC South, which means they will see each other a minimum of twice a year.

Imagine watching Elic Ayomanor absolutely dismantle Travis Hunter—and still not wanting your NFL team to draft him. 😭😭😭 Couldn’t be me. pic.twitter.com/3LA01pzwbx
