You’re not going to find Logan Reilly’s name prominently displayed on the betting websites as a favorite to win the U.S. Open this week.
He’s actually a long shot to merely make the cut and play the weekend.
Yet Reilly, a 19-year-old college freshman, is one of the coolest stories among 156 competitors teeing it up at Shinnecock Hills.
He, too, is a name you (and those betting sites) might want to remember, because he’s one of those special young golfers who seems destined to excel once he turns pro.
