Meagan Good Says Boyfriend Jonathan Majors is "The One"
When something is this good, it requires a major moment—or two.
Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good are officially engaged and, as Meagan revealed, Jonathan ended up actually popping the question twice.
“We did two proposals,” she told E! News’ Francesca Amiker at the EBONY Power 100 Gala in Los Angeles Nov. 17. “We're going to keep it to ourselves, but it was very—I was very shocked, and it was wonderful. And I was like, ‘Wait, are you serious?’”
As Jonathan quipped, “Don’t do anything by half.”
And for the newly engaged couple, sharing the happy news at the EBONY Power 100 Gala is especially poignant.
“Well, we met here two years ago,” Jonathan revealed, joking of the carpet, “Well, not this spot, but EBONY.”
Meagan added, “EBONY Power 100 is the event that we met at in the bathroom, in the unisex bathroom.”
Megan, 43, and Jonathan, 35, began dating in May 2023—after he was arrested over an alleged domestic dispute with ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.
While the Creed III star has maintained his innocence throughout his legal journey, Jonathan was found guilty of misdemeanor assault and harassment in December and later sentenced to a 52-week in-person counseling program and a $250 fine in April, per NBC News.

Meagan remained by his side throughout his trial, often appearing with Jonathan during court appearances in New York City.
For her part, the Divorce in the Black star—who was previously married to DeVon Franklin—has been candid about tuning out the noise when it comes to her relationship.
“I take everyone’s opinion and advice into account, for sure, but at the end of the day, I’m the one who has to live my life,” she said on the July 9 episode of Today. “I’m the one who has to get to Heaven one day, prayerfully, and give God an account of what I did. So, I want to be responsible for the choices that I make. I also want to live the life that I want to live.”
“The support we’ve been able to give to each other, the pouring into each other, the honest conversations, the love, the respect, just the care, and the thoughtfulness,” Meagan later added, “it’s been really wonderful."
