One of the best ways to scout future basketball talent is here: the McDonald's All-American Game. Many of basketball's greats have been on the hardwood present during the showcase of high school's best players across the country throughout the years, such as LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Derrick Rose, and Tracy McGrady.
While last year's boys roster aged like fine wine in relation to their performances as freshmen in this year's college basketball season, most of the country's top prep talent from the 2026 class will take the floor. Uncommitted No. 1 recruit Tyran Stokes will face Arkansas commit, and No. 2 Jordan Smith Jr., who is joined by BYU commit Bruce Branch III (No. 6) and Alabama commit Jaxon Richardson (No. 17).
On the girls' side, top-rated USC commit Saniyah Hall will team up with UConn commit Olivia Vukosa (No. 3) in the East to face a West roster that boasts Tennessee's Oliviyah Edwards (No. 2) as they give college basketball and WNBA fans a first glimpse at the next generation of talent making their names known on the collegiate basketball sphere this fall.
The Sporting News is tracking live scoring updates at the 2026 McDonald's All-American Game on Tuesday night.
