Maxxine Dupri breaks character to reveal secret about injured WWE star

Maxxine Dupri has admitted that there is one injured WWE star she goes to for advice. This star has helped her quite a lot in her career.

Maxxine Dupri on why Chad Gable has done wonders for her

Maxxine Dupri spoke about working with Chad Gable recently during her interview with Chris Van Vliet. There, she said that she loved working with him and that he was not someone that spoke a lot, but when he did speak, she always took it to heart. She complimented him for his ability to focus on the bigger picture in telling a story, and made her realize that there were multiple angles of looking at things.

She admitted that she still went to him for a lot of things, and that when it came to matches, his ability to understand it, and more, was something she admired. She broke character to speak about Gable, given that in the storyline, they are not on friendly terms.

“Oh my gosh, so much. He’s actually someone kind of what I was saying earlier, he’s a man of few words. So when he tells me something, I take it to heart, because he’s someone that can look at something creatively. Just the business, the mind he has for this business, he’s just able to zoom out and see everything and give me these pointers that I’m like, duh, why didn’t I think of that? But I would never, and he sees it so clearly. So I go to him a lot for things like that, because when it comes to matches and just his ability to understand this business truly is out of this world.”

Whereas before, Maxxine Dupri was only seen as a star who was a manager, she quickly changed that perspective while part of the American Alpha. After being trained by Chad Gable, she made her in-ring debut and while still obviously new to the ring, blew people away by just how fast she had learnt.

Her chemistry with Otis and Akira Tozawa also helped her further in this situation.

It remains to be seen how far she goes, but right now, she is someone who can and has gone toe to toe with someone like Becky Lynch in the ring.
