If there's one guy you probably don't want to pick a fight with in the NFL, it's Maxx Crosby. The Las Vegas Raiders defensive end has that bad-boy thing going on, and he just comes off as someone you don't want to mess with.
But, that's not stopping one Miami Dolphins player. The Raiders and Dolphins are coming up on their season opener, set for Sunday, so there's some smack talk going on before the game. What this player said about Crosby is standing out.
Dolphins Player Calls Maxx Crosby a 'Hothead'
On Tuesday, during a press conference, Dolphins left tackle Patrick Paul said that one way he thinks he can deal with Crosby is by "getting him off his game." Then, he was asked if trash talk could come help. Paul seemed to like that idea.
"I feel like, yeah, he's a hothead," Paul said, via David Furones of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "A lot of those things you could get into his game with that, but, I mean, he's a great player so you just got to stay on it all four quarters."
So, he followed up the "hothead" comment with a quick compliment. But, that doesn't mean this won't get to Crosby and perhaps get him even more pumped for Sunday's game.
For Crosby, this is his first time back on the field since getting traded to the Baltimore Ravens, failing his physical and getting sent back to the Raiders, so he's coming into the game with something to prove.
