Maxx Crosby breaks silence on trade rumor and it's dreading news for Bears, Lions, Patriots

The Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, and New England Patriots are just a few teams that may pursue Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby in a trade this offseason, but they received some horrible news on Friday.

Earlier this week, FOX Sports' Jay Glazer said that he believes Crosby has played his final snap as a Raider, which has caused the five-time Pro Bowler to be thrown into a bunch of trade rumors.

However, Crosby broke his silence on the rumors during an appearance on The Herd with Colin Cowherd, and a trade out of Las Vegas didn't seem to be on his mind.

Crosby also did the interview at the Raiders facility while wearing team gear, which is another sign that he has found his home for the long term.

"Now that I’m quiet, now I got random people making big statements for me," Crosby said. "And they’re like, 'Oh, Maxx must’ve told him this.' For me, I just sit back and laugh because I know my truth and when I go to bed at night, I have a smile on my face have to explain nothing to nobody."

"All the noise, it’s news to me,” Crosby added. "I try not to address certain things because no matter what someone is going to pick it apart... I'll let people do their talking, all I'm about is my actions."

Crosby's comments on FS1 on Friday don't mean he won't be traded this offseason, but the chances have dropped significantly.

Despite the Raiders' dysfunction and lack of winning over the last few years, Crosby has repeatedly said that he wants to be in Las Vegas for his entire career.

Unless he requests a trade, Las Vegas will keep Crosby on the roster as the franchise cornerstone, and it doesn't look like the 28-year-old plans to move elsewhere.
