San Francisco Giants third baseman Matt Chapman’s wife, Taylor, announced their second pregnancy on Christmas with a carousel post on Instagram on Thursday. Taylor wore a white high-neck, body-hugging dress while Chapman kept it casual in a white sweatshirt paired with black pants.

The post features one-year-old Gia roaming around and posing with Chapman and Taylor in front of a Christmas tree. In the final post, a blurry image shows Taylor and Chapman embracing, with sonogram images resting on his shoulder.

“Our greatest gift this Christmas. Baby BOY coming July 🤎👼🏼🙏🏼✨,” Taylor captioned the post.

Brandon Crawford’s wife, Jalynne, dropped a two-word reaction in the comments section.

Matt Chapman’s wife, Taylor, enjoyed a western weekend in Auberge

Matt Chapman and Taylor attended former Oakland Athletics pitcher James Kaprielian’s wedding at The Inn at Mattei's Tavern, Auberge Collection.

Taylor shared a series of photos on her Instagram in November. Chapman wore a brown cowboy suit, while Taylor wore a high-slit maroon velvet dress paired with knee-length boots and a cowboy hat.

“A western weekend celebrating the Kaprielian’s 🤎🤠🐴🌾🪩,” Taylor captioned the post.

Matt Chapman and Taylor tied the knot on December 21, 2021, in Cabo San Lucas, California. She shared a post on Instagram and wrote a quirky caption,

“Meet you at the altar, baby ✨🤍.”

They welcomed their first child, Gia, in September 2024. While talking to a MLB reporter in June, Chapman talked about the love between him and his daughter.

“It’s a different kind of love," Chapman said. "Everybody tells you, but every day that goes by, you just love them more. She makes me very happy, and I just love to watch her enjoy life. That’s probably the best part.”

Taylor also shared a post with her daughter on Mother’s Day . She called being a mother the hardest yet most rewarding job in the world.
