The bear reportedly spent less than five minutes soaking before climbing out and sauntering off, leaving the spa behind and presumably returning to whatever bears do after their afternoon wellness appointments.

The unexpected pool party is the third bear sighting caught on camera in the area in recent weeks, suggesting the local wildlife has become increasingly comfortable with the neighborhood.

Southern California was slammed by above-normal temperatures over the weekend, with widespread heat and air quality advisories in effect, according to NBC.

Temperatures reached triple digits in some areas, with moderate to high heat-health risks as a stubborn high-pressure system pushed temperatures well above average.
