Maskless Rey Mysterio subtly reveals the truth about his relationship with Dominik

Rey Mysterio and his son, Dominik, have been feuding ever since the latter turned heel and joined The Judgment Day in 2022. They have faced each other multiple times since then, including at WrestleMania.

However, Dirty Dom's disdain for his "deadbeat dad" remains well-documented. The Intercontinental Champion went as far as to call Eddie Guerrero his real dad upon Rey Mysterio's return ahead of Survivor Series. Overall, the family maintains kayfabe to a great extent since Rey and Dom are rarely pictured together, even at family events.

In a recent picture uploaded by a fan on X/Twitter, an unmasked Rey Mysterio was seen wearing a T-shirt that featured himself, Dominik, and Eddie Guerrero.

This subtle endorsement of Dirty Dom seemingly reveals that the father-son duo is on good terms behind the scenes, despite the intense hatred between them when the cameras are on.

Dominik Mysterio suffered an injury while in the ring with Rey Mysterio

During the recent AAA Guerra de Titanes event, The Master of the 619 teamed up with Rey Fenix to face Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano in a tag team match. Fenix was originally supposed to team up with his brother, Penta, but the latter was recovering from a shoulder injury and couldn't compete.

Unfortunately, Dirty Dom also suffered an injury during the match. The AAA Mega Champion landed awkwardly on his shoulder during a DDT spot executed by his father. While he was able to finish the match, Dominik Mysterio was legitimately injured and missed the subsequent WWE house shows and the December 29 edition of WWE RAW.

It was announced on the red brand that the King of the Luchadors was injured and would be out indefinitely. However, he was not stripped of any of his titles despite being injured, suggesting he might not be out for too long.
