A masked and hooded crew stole about $14,000 in electronics from a Bronx charter school during a late-night heist earlier this month, cops and sources said.
The group of thieves – two of whom are shown in surveillance images released by the NYPD – got into the American Dream Charter School in Mott Haven through an open door on the roof, police said.
The heist happened around 11:15 p.m. on Jan. 4 on East 141 Street near Brook Avenue, according to police.
The sticky-fingered crew grabbed a walkie-talkie, laptops, speakers and graphing calculators — worth around $14,000 — before running out through the front door, authorities and sources said.
The NYPD images show the still-at-large suspects pushing the items on rolling office chairs.
It was not immediately clear whether the bandits were students or had any connection to the school, which serves grades 6 through 12.
Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or, in Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
