Why Leaving Hollywood Is Better For Mark Wahlberg
Mark Wahlberg's daughter Grace is on the mend.
The Ted actor shared an update on his and wife Rhea Durham's 15-year-old, more than a week after she was hospitalized for an arm injury after an equestrian competition.
"She's doing good," Mark exclusively told E! News during an interview with The Family Plan 2 costar Michelle Monaghan. "It was very scary. She's very brave. She's tough."
"She just wants to literally get back on the horse," the actor—also dad to Ella, 22, Michael, 19, and Brendan, 17—noted. "But it was very, very scary."
According to Mark, Grace couldn't be more passionate about the sport—despite the dangers that come along with it.
"Always nerve-wracking when she's jumping," he added, "especially as she goes up in height quite often."
But that's not going to stop Grace—who has been riding horses professionally for years—from following her passion, as Mark reiterated, "She's eager to get back."
Days earlier, Grace posted images of herself riding, captioning her Instagram, "Tippy z...looking forward to a big year."

As for Mark, he's wrapping up a big year himself. His latest movie The Family Plan 2, a sequel to Apple TV+'s 2023 action-comedy, is set for release on Nov. 21. The new installment features fellow returning star Michelle and franchise newcomer Kit Harington, who plays the brother of Mark's character.
"He's amazing. Wonderful," the actor described the Game of Thrones alum. "In real life, I've always wanted to be a big brother. I'm the youngest of nine."

And speaking of his real-life family, Mark—who co-owns the Wahlburgers restaurant chain with brothers Donnie Wahlberg and Paul Wahlberg—is looking forward to spending quality time with his loved ones this holiday season.
"We always go on a holiday, always kinda forced to stay together in close quarters and we would eat breakfast together and lunch and spend the day and then we have dinner. It's nice," he shared. "We love it because we're all together."
