Mariners' Josh Naylor broke out a never-before-seen bat flip on his monster home run

Seattle Mariners fans are quickly learning how awesome Josh Naylor is.

The lefty slugger acquired before the trade deadline provided another reason to love him on Wednesday night.

Not only did he blast a 450-foot home run. He also broke out this bat flip, the likes of which we haven't seen before:

I love the Mariners got a guy who reacts to a home run like he just came out of the coffee shop to a parking ticket on his windshield pic.twitter.com/5WEODVK32G

That was Naylor's third home run since joining the Mariners, a span of 12 games now. He raised his OPS with Seattle to .833 with the big blast.

Even more remarkable, Naylor stole two bases for the second consecutive game. He already has 10 steals with Seattle in those 12 games.

Before this season, his career-high steals for a season was 10 in 2023, when he played in 121 games with Cleveland.

But now all of a sudden, Naylor is running wild.

He's 5-foot-10 and 235 pounds, not the type of guy you'd expect to break out these wheels.

He had stolen 11 bags for Arizona in 93 games, already breaking that previous career mark, so he clearly came into this year looking to run more.

With Seattle, Naylor has taken that to a crazy new level.

He's on fire now. It's two games in a row with two steals and a homer.

Who's to say Naylor won't make it three in a row?

Right now, with him swaggering his way around the ballfield the way he is, there's no betting against him.
