Mariners' continued Dylan Moore decision is befuddling amid odd trade ideas

The Seattle Mariners keep playing Dylan Moore.

No one is quite sure why.

The operating answer is that they're showcasing Moore for a trade.

If that's what they're doing, it's not going to work.

Moore is 0 for his last 11

Moore is 1 for his last 23.

Moore is 2 for his last 47.

All the defensive versatility in the world won't fix that.

Moore has been a productive big leaguer in his past, so Seattle must be holding out hope he can turn it around.

But right now, no turnaround is coming, and yet Moore keeps finding his way into the lineup. That's not ideal, for anyone.
