See Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon's Twins Monroe & Moroccan Gift Her Flowers Onstage
All Mariah Carey wants for Easter is a photo with her babies.
And she got it as she celebrated the holiday with her and Nick Cannon’s 13-year-old twins Monroe Cannon and Moroccan Cannon. The “We Belong Together” singer posted a series of pictures from the celebration that featured her wearing a chic dress as she holds a pink easter basket and poses with the Easter Bunny, watches her twins open their baskets and flashes two golden eggs.
Monroe and Moroccan had their moment to shine alongside their mother and the Easter Bunny. Gushing about the moment, Maraiah captioned the post shared on April 21,” The greatest gift of being a mom is getting your teenage kids to participate in your Easter hijinks!”
Mariah’s latest milestone with her teens came weeks after she had another relatable mom moment. During Moroccan’s Twitch livestream on April 3, the “Obsessed” singer and his sister Monroe appeared in his room on the camera. As Mariah’s presence became known, streamers began to react to her impromptu appearance, telling her son to share messages.
After inviting his mom into the frame, the teen instantly regretted his decision.
"Okay, y'all need to get out now. Just, everybody get out," he told them. "Mom, they can see you. They're saying, 'Hi Mariah, I love you!' Oh my God."
Never one to leave her fans hanging, Mariah returned the love saying, "Hi, you guys. I love you, too."
However, Mariah’s twins are no strangers to sharing the spotlight with their mother. In December, the teens joined her on stage during her Christmas Time tour, where they showed off their talents. And while she is protective of her teens, the “Always Be My Baby” singer admitted that she gives them the space as they navigate the world on their own and follow her footsteps.
“I think she’s leaning towards singing and acting as well,” she told E! News in November about Monroe’s interest in entertainment. “There’s a lot of advice to be given. I’m super protective of my kids but I also try to let them be their own people.”
